About
The only bra she owned that she forgot she was wearing.
How Surf Conquest started
Surf Conquest started in 2019 after years of buying underwear that either looked good in the package and felt wrong by midday, or lasted one season before the elastic gave out. The first small run was 200 sets in three sizes, made with a small production partner. They went out through a single Instagram post to people we knew, and they sold out in four days.
The turning point came in early 2021, when a customer wrote in to say she had bought the same bra three times because it was the only one she owned that she forgot she was wearing. That sentence became the internal brief for everything that followed. We spent the next six months reworking the band construction, switching from a standard elastic to a fold-over knit band that sits flat and does not roll. We also expanded the size range from five to nine sizes after realising the original range was too narrow to serve the women who were asking for it.
Cotton that breathes
We use GOTS-certified organic cotton for most of our pieces. It softens with every wash and stays close to the skin without trapping heat.
Seams that disappear
Our styles are knitted in one piece on circular looms. No side seams, no ridge under clothes, no adjusting throughout the day.
Sizes that make sense
We size from XS to 3XL and test every fit on real bodies before anything goes into production. Sizing charts are specific, not aspirational.
